There is no need for wiping and cleaning when it can measure without cutting and juicing.PAL-HIKARi is the world’s smallest non-destructive Brix meter. The side button let you measure fruit with one hand while they are still growing on the trees. It is battery-powered so it can be taken and used anywhere. The cushion around the sensor provides gentle but firm contact to the fruit’s surface. Regardless of the shape, it prevents external light from interfering and causing measurement discrepancies. The light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used as a light source. Using our cultivated optical engineering knowledge and skills, the path of light to and from fruit was carefully calculated. There is no other portable instrument that can be as easily carried around with you. PAL-HIKARi is equipped with an ELI function to detect external light that may interfere when measuring outside while fruit are still growing on the tree. Hold the unit in your hand and press its sensor against the fruit or place the fruit on the sensor. At the push of a button, it will begin taking measurements. Whichever the way you prefer, a buzzing sound will let you know when it is done taking measurements.
