EMEC lotus maxi is a chlorine dioxide (ClO2) generator for water disinfection.
Chlorine dioxide is produced on site from diluted hydrochloric acid (HCl 9%) and sodium chlorite (NaClO2 7,5%) by the acid-chlorite process, then dosed proportionally to the water flow or to a measured setpoint.
The largest unit in the range, for high production such as large water treatment plants, supplied as LOTUS MAXI 80, 160, 240 or 400.
Chlorine dioxide concentration is 2 g/l and the working temperature range is 0-45 °C.
