EMEC lotus ultra is a chlorine dioxide (ClO2) generator for water disinfection.
Chlorine dioxide is produced on site from diluted hydrochloric acid (HCl 9%) and sodium chlorite (NaClO2 7,5%) by the acid-chlorite process, then dosed proportionally to the water flow or to a measured setpoint.
The reaction takes place in a pressurised PVDF chamber, with three dosing pumps and an in-air gas detection sensor.
